The Rheumatoid Arthritis Support Foundation (TRASF)

is a Non-Governmental Organization

that is designed to be a support system for persons with

R.A. by providing the relevant information,

social and emotional assistance,

to improve their standard of living, while being

an advocate for change within the society.

VISION STATEMENT

To provide a solid support system and be an advocate

for persons living with Rheumatoid Arthritis Disorder.

MISSION STATEMENT

To bring and promote awareness of Rheumatoid Arthritis to

individuals and families by providing the relevant

information and resources necessary, to reduce the risk of

permanent disability and deformation through education,

service and advocacy.

Aims & Objectives

To develop activities that would combat the discomfort associated with R.A.

To reduce the suffering and deformation of those affected by R.A.

To conduct workshops about early detection and signs of R.A.

To educate the population about R.A., its effects, and impacts, with special emphasis on measures to minimize deformation and debilitation

To promote early detection through the process of regular screening tests.

To offer social, emotional, and other necessary assistance to families and patients dealing with R.A.

To encourage and conduct research in the area of R.A. and accumulate the data about its prevalence and causes.
